Christians Should Quit Playing God. He's Doing the Job Just Fine

I drink wine. My husband drinks beer. We are Christians. We are called sinners by some fellow Christians. This isn't a rant about that, whether or not drinking is okay for Christians. It's about how we define sin to suit our needs. Sometimes, it's hypocritical. Sometimes it's downright playing God.



We know excessive drinking leads to sin. Lots of things do. But are beer and wine, in and of themselves, inherently wicked? I don't write this to defend alcohol, but to show how Christians sometimes play God about sin. I look to Our Lord's example because He's the Source of righteousness.   Christians Should Stop Playing God. He Does Not Like It
