Why I Made a Facebook Break

Depressed and anxious? Try taking a "Face (book) break" far from the maddening crowd. Meaning what? Frenetic connecting online is a straight trajectory to burnout. Facebook isn't real and therefore not satisfying as social interaction. There's too much crazy with little social buffer. I went on a general Facebook strike and cut all but a few work groups. I only used it for that anyway except when I would go online after my third shift husband went to work. Big mistake. Wasted time, no exercise, ate and drank too much, got too involved in others' lives. I'm 10 times happier sans Facebook.   Depressed? Make a Facebook Break and Reconnect
