I've lived with addicts all my life and been codependent to many forms of addiction. I've made every mistake in the book (and invented some). I'm working a program of recovery from codependent behavior. This is what I've learned about active addiction behavior. One of my biggest problems is overwork. That's classic codependent. Take now for example. When I should be going to yoga, I'm still pecking away at the keyboard. Taking a break is foreign. I don't know why it's so hard. It's not like I produce that high a quality of work when I'm burned out. Well, I think I'll go hang out at the library. Care to join me?
